Ke$ha Teams With Casio to Launch New Line of Watches

Casio announced yesterday that they have teamed up with popular chart-topper,Ke$ha, to launch a line of womens watches for their tech-sporty Baby-G collection.   The sometimes outlandish singer first rose to success with her single “Tik Tok” in 2009.  It seems she is now returning to her original source of inspiration–watches–with this new partnership.
“Even though it’s a tiny surface area, I think I’ve done a good job packing in tons of signature K Monay swagger,” the singer tells PEOPLE of the two watches she designed for the brand.
Casio is a watch brand that’s a favorite with the musical set.  One of the models Ke$ha has designed is inspired by the American flag.  She says this is to represent freedom.  The other sports a leopard print motif.  “[It’s] a theme I have in my look often,” Ke$ha tells People magazine. “It reminds me we are all animals inside, and I wanted this watch to do the same.”
The styles can be purchased now; meanwhile, the singer tells People that more design endeavors are in the works. “I’m definitely plotting my next design moves,” she says. “Stay tuned! Look for animal-friendly organic jewelry and fake fur.”
For now, however, you can bet that the line of womens watches will be popular with Ke$ha’s loyal and adoring fans.  And though eWatches does not carry the Casio Baby G line, we do have a wide array of women’s watches and men’s watches for you to choose from in a wide variety of styles.
